Explain the Brain is an attempt to answer one hard question: can we actually build a brain? I believe that understanding requires building — runnable models, clear experiments, and public falsification — and this site is my effort to reverse-engineer intelligence by turning brain principles into working systems, in the open.

I'm Tony Samaritano — an engineer and entrepreneur who has appeared on America's Got Talent and spent over a decade building Verge Aero, deploying more than 14,000 drones worldwide. Now, I'm focused on translating what evolution solved in biology into buildable, data-efficient, brain-grounded AI.
